Before moving from the US to Denmark in 2012, I had only visited Copenhagen once, for about four days. Now, nearly a decade later, Copenhagen has not only become my hometown, but it has also become my favorite city in the world (okay, it's a tie with Paris). Copenhagen is a place that—with its innovative people, progressive policies, and commitment to supporting equality and wellness—continues to surprise and delight me almost every day. It seems that, no matter how long we live here, there is always more to learn, more to explore, more to discover, and so many more ways to be inspired by ‘Wonderful Copenhagen.’ Here are a few of my favorite places in Copenhagen to explore, shop, relax, and (most importantly) to enjoy fresh baked treats!
